Pillars of Fire

Proverbs 6:27-28 Can a man take fire in his bosom, and his clothes not be burned? Can one go upon hot coals, and his feet not be burned?

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Pillar of Fire: He’s still burning in you, and through you. The evidence is all around! He’s still moving — leading His people through you to the promised lands. Lighting up the way in the darkness, and the darkness comprehends it not!

He’s one spirit with us. As He is, so are we. If He’s a consuming fire, then so are we! No wonder, no wonder Abednego Meshach and Shadrach never got consumed in the furnace. The very thing they were thrown in could not consume them. It was a counterfeit! The fire they set to burn them could not consume them, for they were a higher fire! And how can fire burn fire? There can’t be any effect on either fires! One water poured into/unto the other can’t claim that it made the other wet! All waters’ are wet!

The fourth man was with them! That very Jesus; we are in Him, and were in Him then!

So we set out, to burn any disease, any imagination or lie that’s not aligned to the word of God in our lives. We burn every failure, and consume it all! Any distraction, any weapon formed against us, we melt its iron. We burn the gates of brass and melt them out the way.

By this fire we burn the tar meant to make tarmac highways in deserts. By this fire we are purified as silver and gold until His image is seen in us: pure and perfect as already we are by faith!

This fire that burns with the flaming sword that turns in all directions, protects our entrances to the garden — to our secret places, that no man dare set asunder the communion that we have with Him.

Ah, this same fire lit up the burning bush. It calls destinies to life, gives mantles, and assignments: and clarifies them, Lord you do so through us. Even unto men who fled into far wildernesses: who think you are through with them!

This fire is what the Seraphim are made of, O we shall worship you Lord; all our lives. With bright glory and grace! In you we live and move and have our being! In this fire we live and have our beings!

This is the fire that Elijah called down at mount Carmel! It consumes vain altars and burns other gods to the grounds. It melts golden calves! It causes men to repent! By fire you answer us today, proving just how great you are! And the men shall indeed call you THE GOD, THE LORD!

This is the fire that flares from your eyes! And we see it like Moses. For with Him, you talked face to face, mouth to mouth, and not in dreams or visions or mysteries. You’ve elevated us the same & even higher: made us to sit with Christ, above all principalities, and dominions and powers and thrones.

We carry your fire well. We are your fire! The gates of hell can’t prevail against us! No evil can. By this fire the wickedness in Sodom and Gomorrah was put to an end: brought to full term! It is not asleep, like you it never slumbers. Didn’t it unsettle Jeremiah? Didn’t it consume his bones? This fire besets us! Joel saw it: it devours before us; and behind us a flame burneth! The land is as the garden of Eden before us, and behind; a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape us!

Ever noticed, why most testimonies (here in African churches) consist of witches’ houses being burnt by mysterious fire! That’s this fire! And its fuel is the oil of the Spirit! The oil of gladness! The oil of gladness! He has anointed you with it, that you may preach the gospel to the poor, proclaim liberty to captives, and open prisons to the bound! For all these, you need a kind of fire.

O fear the Lord His saints, for you carry His very similitude. Carry this fire with fear and trembling! Carry it with all wisdom and understanding!

But do not fear, for I am with you, I’ll help you, I’ll hold your hand, God said. I’ll teach you to burn!

Jeremiah 23:29 Is not my word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

Isaiah 66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
